Nine new apartments in an office-to-residential conversion in a historic building

Tenor Building

Office to residential conversion

Gallus Studio was brought in to renew an expired Permitted Development permission relating to 9 new flats over commercial space.

The practice was also engaged early on to assist the client in realising the project, from assembling the team to satisfy funding requirements to producing tender information and selecting a main contractor.

Now nearing completion, Gallus were asked to name the building and decided to honour the biggest bell from nearby Christ The Saviour church, The Tenor.
